Discretion is advised.]On February 8th, 2025, Deputy Evans was dispatched to [600 BLOCK] Pine Oaks Dr. for an intoxicated pedestrian. This is what was reported.When Deputy Evans arrived to the residence he came in with [VICTIM ]. She said that William Chase Duke was laying down on her back porch very intoxicated and wouldn’t leave the residence. Deputy Evans made with William. Deputy Evans asked him why he was at the residence. William responded but Deputy Evans didn’t understand him due to him being very intoxicated, slurring his words, cussing, and being loud. Deputy Evans placed William in hand cuffs, check for fit, double locked and escorted him to the patrol vehicle. Deputy Bethune placed William into Deputy Evans’s patrol vehicle.Deputy Evans spoke to [VICTIM ] again about the situation. She said she walked out of her residence and noticed William outside of his residence trying to get in. She said she walked to the fence and began speaking to William. She said he also walked to the fence and began talking to her. She said William was locked out of his residence and didn’t know what to do. She said he then stuck his hand down her shirt and touched her breasts and also touched her groin area when they were speaking to each other. She said when he did that she backed up and said she was too old for him and that he shouldn’t be doing that. She said she went back to her residence to get away from him. She said when she got back inside of her residence, William jumped over the fence onto her property and started knocking on her back-porch door. She said she was scared because he wouldn’t leave the property and didn’t want anything to happen to her.Deputy Bethune gave Deputy Evans addition information about the situation. [WITNESS ] who is neighbors with [VICTIM ] said William and his girlfriend were an ongoing issue with each other. [WITNESS ] said he didn’t see William touch [VICTIM ] but heard her say he did touch her. [WITNESS ] said he did witness William jump the fence onto [VICTIM ]’s property. Another neighbor by the name of [WITNESS ] said [VICTIM ] called her via phone call and told her the situation that happened. [WITNESS ] advised [VICTIM ] to call the police. [WITNESS ] said William and his girlfriend were always getting into fights and that he would get mad, hit his girlfriend, hit things, and drive drunk all the time. [WITNESS ] said it was always an issue with them.Deputy Evans attempted to get William’s side of the story but he was uncooperative. Deputy Evans escorted him to the Whitfield County Detention Center.Deputy Evans charged William with Warrantless Arrest 0002 for OCGA 16-7-21 Criminal Trespass, 16-11-41 Public Drunkenness, and 16-6-22.1 Sexual Battery.[End of Narrative].
