Deputy A. Davis conducted a welfare check and assessed [VICTIM #1] for injuries. Three wounds were observed on [VICTIM #1]’s body one on the upper right back, along with one wound on each wrist. Following this assessment, Deputies Davis and Woods entered the residence to locate the offender, Misty Hawkins.Misty was located in the bathroom shower and was detained by Deputy Woods without incident. She was escorted out from the residence. Deputy Woods then read Misty her Miranda Rights. When asked what had occurred, Misty stated, “He just started going off.” When asked how [VICTIM #1] sustained the wounds on his back, Misty responded, “Uh-oh haha, I did that,” and subsequently stated that she would remain silent until speaking with a lawyer. Misty also informed Deputy Woods that the knife used during the incident could be found in the kitchen area.Deputies conducted a of the kitchen and located the knife in the sink. [VICTIM #1] confirmed he had washed the knife after the incident. The knife was secured in an evidence bag.Deputy Davis further interviewed [VICTIM #1] to investigate the situation. [VICTIM #1] stated that he and Misty had been arguing when she dropped a knife, and due to his intoxication, he fell onto it. During the conversation, [VICTIM #1] became agitated and uncooperative. He was subsequently detained for his behavior.
