Discretion is advised.]On August 31, 2024 at 2258 hours, Deputy Scott arrived at [2000 BLOCK] Kingsport Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress.Dispatch gave updates while Deputies were in route stating that there was a physical fight in progress and that an individual had a gun. When Deputy Scott arrived on scene, he observed approximately 10-15 individuals outside of the residence but did not see any actively involved in a physical altercation. [VICTIM #1], the homeowner, pointed out Alexis De Santiago and stated that he was the one with the gun and also stated that he was the aggressor. Deputy Scott attempted to separate Alexis from the group. Alexis was highly intoxicated and kept yelling at other subjects. Deputy Scott told Alexis multiple times to quit talking with the other subjects.As Deputies Cobb, Kadinger, Deaver and Lt. O’Mahony arrived on scene, we were able to separate the parties and start gathering testimonies. Based on the testimonies gathered, Deputies were able to determine that Alexis and his brother [VICTIM #2] were in a physical altercation where Alexis had punched and slammed [VICTIM #2] to the ground. [VICTIM #2] had a pop knot on the left side of his forehead and was bleeding.[VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #3] were not on scene but had learned of this altercation when they arrived on scene. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #3] were aware of how intoxicated Alexis was and knew that he had a firearm on his person. [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #3], and [VICTIM #2] attempted to remove the firearm from Alexis in an attempt to prevent him from possibly using the firearm if there was another altercation to happen. A physical altercation occurred again when they attempted to remove the firearm and at one-point Alexis had the firearm in his hand.[VICTIM #1] stated that Alexis did hit her at some point during the altercation and that she was in fear when she saw Alexis with the firearm in his hand. While talking with different individuals, Alexis had another outburst and attempted to argue with other people. Deputy Scott then placed Alexis in handcuffs and place him in the backseat of his patrol vehicle. Deputy Scott explained to Alexis that at this point he was just being detained and was not under arrest.Deputy Scott then went back and gathered more testimony. Deputy Scott learned that [VICTIM #2], [VICTIM #3] and Alexis were siblings but did not live together currently. Deputy Scott asked [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #3] and [VICTIM #2] if they each wanted to press charges on Alexis. Each stated that they did not. Deputy Scott decided to arrest Alexis for O.C.G.A. 16-11-39 disorderly conduct and transported him to the Whitfield County Jail. Deputy Scott filled out warrantless arrest form #69173.
