Discretion is advised.]On 5/31/25 I was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Riverside Cir in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival I spoke with [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that her and her husband Gregory got into an arguement. I could see blood in [VICTIM #1]s nose and a new knot on her forehead as well as swelling and redness on her right cheek. [VICTIM #1] was holding a child and I could see redness on the childs cheek as well. [VICTIM #1] said that she did not want to press charges on Gregory. I advised her that it was not her choice in this situation. [VICTIM #1] said that the marks were not from this but from a trashcan. I then spoke with [WITNESS #1].[WITNESS #1] stated that Gregory is her brother. [WITNESS #1] said that they was arguing over the children and that he began hitting [VICTIM #1] with a closed fist in the face. [WITNESS #1] stated that she was holding the baby [JUVENILE #1] and that he got hit once as well and thats why his face was red. [VICTIM #1] then spoke up and said that she was just trying to cover up [JUVENILE #1] while he was hitting her. I then asked [VICTIM #1] is that why she had the marks and she said yes. [WITNESS #1] said that her children were watching the incident as well when it happened and that they were upset and crying. I then asked [WITNESS #1] if she wanted to press charges on her childrens behalf and she said yes. [VICTIM #1] and Gregory’s other 2 children were present in the vehicle as well when Gregory was hitting [VICTIM #1].Gregory walked off before my arrival and was unable to locate him after this incident.
