Mr. Rashad had left the location walking towards the exercise track behind Washington County Regional Medical Center. Officer Petty and Officer Morris pursued towards the wooden area and observed Mr. Harris walking. Mr. Harris was then placed under arrest by Officer Morris.While searching Mr. Harris incident to arrest, Officer Petty confiscated a pocketknife that was used in the assault. Officer Petty transported Mr. Harris to the Sandersville Police Department for booking and questioning. Officer Petty booked Mr. Harris for aggravated assault. Mr. Harris was then brought into the interrogation room and interviewed by Detective Ball.
