When I arrived, I met with homeowner Ms. [VICTIM #1]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised me that a subject, later identified as Mr. Bobbie Peterson, was at the residence and she wanted Mr. Peterson to leave. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised me that Mr. Peterson has lived at the residence for approximately two months.I spoke with Mr. Peterson and observed the smell of alcohol coming from his person. I asked Mr. Peterson if he would leave the residence for the night, for a “cool off” period, since the two parties had been in a verbal altercation this evening. Mr. Peterson agreed to leave for the night, and began packing a bag, advising me that he would stay at a hotel. I advised Mr. Peterson I would like him to blow into a handheld PBT to assure he was safe to operate a vehicle, due to the odor of alcohol coming from his person. Mr. Peterson then made a phone call for a person to come to the residence and pick him up.At this time, I observed Sergeant Ivey place Mr. Peterson under arrest, and the case was turned over to Sgt. Ivey.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on June 06, 2025]On Friday, June 6, 2025 at 0009 hrs. I, Sgt. M. Ivey, responded to assist Officer J. Adams at [600 BLOCK] Sunhill Rd. in reference to an unwanted subject. After speaking with the complainant, she wanted her intoxicated friend, Bobbie Peterson, to leave the premises. Officers explained to the complainant that Peterson was a resident there and we could not make him leave. Peterson was clearly intoxicated, and the smell of alcoholic beverages was strong on his person. While speaking with Peterson, he was yelling and cussing in a residential neighborhood with houses less than 100 feet away at around midnight.Peterson was instructed several times to calm down but refused. Peterson then began yelling at me that I was a “racist a*s cop.” At that point Peterson had been causing a breach in the peace for more than 10 minutes and was placed under arrest. Peterson was charged with the city ordinance for disorderly conduct. Peterson was escorted to Washington County LEC where he was turned over to the on-duty jail staff along with a copy of his citation. I then returned to service.[End of Narrative].
