Walker central had a 911 open line where the operator could hear a male and female arguing and talking about the physical abuse that the male was doing to the female.Upon arrival I was able to make contact with both parties and following my investigation I had reason to believe that the suspect was the primary aggressor posing the most serious and on going threat, initiating and continuing the violence and leaving serious visible injury to the victim. The suspect was placed in custody for Aggravated Assault by assaulting or with the intent to assault the victim with a deadly weapon that when used offensively is likely or does cause serious bodily injury, Felony Terroristic Threats by threatening an act of violence that would result in death or serious bodily injury, and Battery-FVA by causing substantial and visible bodily harm to another, being his ex-wife/partner who he currently resides with. The suspect was transported to the A/B Line by Deputy Linder. The knife found on the suspect was a switch blade as the victim described and did have a pinkish material on the blade looking as if it may be skin. This object was logged into evidence and placed into evidence locker #3. All documents obtained at the scene have been added to the transfer to CID file to be added to this case.I provided the victim with a Domestic Violence Service Sheet as well as a Victim Bill of Rights with a case number. I thoroughly explained the TPO process to the victim as well as bond conditions that can be requested prior to the suspects bond hearing. Let it be noted that there is a history of domestic violence in Catoosa County as well as Walker County with the suspect and victim.EMS was called to the scene during initial contact with the parties and the victim decided to have a family member transport her to the hospital instead of paying for an ambulance transport.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on July 22, 2025]On the listed date and time I met another deputy at the A/B Line in reference to picking up a prisoner to be transported to the Walker County Detention Facility. Upon taking custody of the suspect, he was then searched and no contraband or weapons were found. Prior to placing him in the back of my patrol vehicle, I searched the back seat for contraband and weapons and nothing was found. I then placed him into the back seat of my patrol vehicle and transported him to the Walker County Detention Facility. Upon arrival at the detention facility, he was removed and the rear seat of my patrol vehicle was searched for contraband and weapons and nothing was found.
