At 14:45 hours this date, I assisted Deputy Fouts with a warrant service at the listed incident location.
Upon arrival on the scene, I made with the suspect, E.O., inside the residence. I asked the suspect to step outside, and she complied, at which point she was advised of the warrant and placed under arrest. I secured the suspect in handcuffs behind her back, checked for proper fit, and double locked. Before placing the suspect in the rear seat of my patrol car, the suspect and rear seat area were checked for weapons or contraband and nothing was found.
Deputy Fouts arrested suspect T.O., and after she was checked for weapons and contraband, she was also placed in the rear seat of my patrol car.
I transported both suspects to the Walker County Jail, where they were turned over to detention personnel without incident. After removing the suspects from my vehicle, the rear seat area was checked again for weapons or contraband and nothing was found.

, I attempted to serve the listed warrants (warrant numbers W24120129, W24120130, W24120131). When I arrived at the incident location from the original report the suspects were not on scene. I then went to [1000 BLOCK] Glentana St in an attempt to see if they were at this location. As I passed by I observed the vehicle that the suspects were known to drive. I advised Sgt Blesch and Mccd Officer Bradford of this and went on scene.
As I went to go around the back side of the house I went passed the vehicle and observed it was occupied. I began giving commands to the occupants. The back seat occupant, suspect Genter, was stuffing something into her purse. I gave her commands to put her hands up while I placed the suspect under arrest for the warrant that she had. The subject who was in the front seat disappeared while I was doing this. While I was dealing with these subjects Sgt Blesch took suspect and suspect into custody for me.
The suspect was taken to a patrol vehicle while I spoke with suspect. She advised me that she did not put anything into her purse and that she was not even sitting on the side of the vehicle I saw her sitting on. I asked Mccd Officer Bradford if he was willing to do a free air sniff of the vehicle due to my prior knowledge of the suspect use of illegal substances. He said that he would. Suspect was detained while the free air sniff was conducted. During the free air sniff the K9 alerted on the vehicle and a probable cause was conducted. During this a pink bag was recovered in the back seat within reach of both suspects. The bag was in the map pocket on the back of the driver seat. Inside the pink zipper bag were two yellow baggies containing a white-ish brown powder substance that I know due to my training and experience could possibly be fentanyl. Also located inside the pink bag was a glass jar with a blue powder inside. None of the items were field tested for officer safety issues that could come from the accidental that could happen with fentanyl. The substances were sent to the crime lab for testing.
The suspect was placed under arrest and read Miranda. She denied any knowledge of the items and stated that she was on the passenger side of the vehicle when I arrived. I saw her sitting on the driver’s side of the vehicle. When I advised her of this she stated that I was right and that she had just moved. I then read Miranda to all other arrestees except the suspect due to her having no involvement with the vehicle at this time. The suspect was not in the vehicle at the time of my arrival so she was not charged with possession of the substances. The suspect refused to speak with me after being read Miranda and when she was advised of being charged with the possession she stated that the items were not hers.
All suspects were transported to the Walker County Jail where they were turned over to detention personnel. They were secured in handcuffs which were checked for fit and double locked. I ed the back seat of my patrol vehicle before and after transport and no contraband was located. I transported suspect and suspect to the Walker county jail. All warrants were executed.
