Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE #1 on June 21, 2025]On 06/21/2025 at approximately 1823 hours I was dispatched to [7700 BLOCK] Highway 151 Lafayette Georgia in regards to a physical domestic. While enroute to the domestic walker E-911 advised me that the suspect was in an old Dairy Barn and had lots of weapons. As I approached the Barn we made contact with the suspect who asked what was going on. We asked the suspect what had occurred between him and his father and the suspect replied that his father had told a big lie and the two began to argue and he slapped him.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on June 21, 2025]I responded with deputies McCoy and McNichols to [7700 BLOCK] HWY 151 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Dispatch had advised that the caller stated that the suspect was in the Barn at the end of the driveway. We then approached the door to the Barn and located the suspect. McNichols gave the suspect commands to come outside and the suspect was checked for weapons but none were found. The suspect then asked me what was going on so I asked the suspect what had happened with the victim. The suspect stated that he and the victim had been in an argument. I then told the suspect that we had been advised that he had choked the victim. The suspect stated “I didn’t choke him out, I smacked his mouth.” I asked the suspect why he hit the victim and he stated that the victim had lied to him.I then advised the suspect that he was under arrest. The suspect was placed in handcuffs which were checked for fit and double locked. The suspect was then searched for contraband and nothing was found.
