Discretion is advised.]On January 7th 2025at 2056 hours, I Officer Newman 926 was conducting a business check at 1557 N Expressway (Marshall’s). While conducting my business check, Javon Goodman came running into the store where he was yelling at customers in line to stop looking at him, as well as cursing at them. Javon then went to leave where I made with him.Javon appeared to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage due to his behavior as well as smelling it emitting from his person. Myself and Javon then stepped outside where he began to resist when I attempted to detain him. I was then able to detain Javon after he resisted, where he was then placed into handcuffs which were double locked and checked for fit.Javon was then escorted to my patrol vehicle where he was placed into the backseat of my patrol vehicle which was ed prior to and after transport. Javon was then transported to the Spalding County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff. Jail staff later informed me that they found marijuana on Javon after he was checked out by medical staff.The marijuana was turned over to me by jail staff, which I will be placing into evidence to be destroyed. I will be charging Javon with disorderly conduct, obstruction of officers, and public drunkenness.[End of Narrative]. On January 7th 2025
