Discretion is advised.]On 02/15/2025at 1742 hours, while patrolling the area of Milledgeville Road at Tubman road, I Deputy DeKam and Cpl Smith observed a black in color 2015 Kia Optima SC Tag: [REDACTED] travelling North on Tubman road with a defective rear right break light.Deputies were able to make and initiate a traffic stop for the listed infraction in front of [2000 BLOCK] Shirley Ave.Upon making with the driver of the vehicle, Ms Essence Brown, Deputies detected a strong odor of Marijuana coming from inside of the passenger area of the vehicle. Deputies then made with the passenger of the vehicle, Mr Jaquez Mobley whom was sitting in the front right passenger seat.Mobley initially did not want to identify himself, and provided Deputies with two different false names. Myself and Cpl Smith then instructed Mobley to exit the vehicle so we may begin a vehicle and also attempt to identify him.As Mobley exited the vehicle, he began acting agitated and non compliant with Deputies. Myself and Cpl Smith were then able to detain him without further incident. As Deputies were patting down Mobley for weapons, Cpl Smith discovered a small plastic baggie in Mobleys right front pocket containing the following items :Approx 16.3 Grams of Fentanyl (40 Pressed pills and residue)Approx 8.6 Grams of powder CocaineApprox 4.6 Grams of Crack CocaineAll items were bagged separatley in clear plastic baggies.I then conducted a of the vehicle, at which time I located a tan in color Glock 19X 9mm handgun with a serial #BZCL024 in the glove box. Also in the glove box, was a clear plastic baggie containing 28.7 Grams of Marijuana, and another clear plastic baggie containing 29.1 Grams of Marijuana.I also located a burnt Marijuana cigarrette in the ash tray with an approx weight of 0.9 Grams.Brown stated she had just picked Mobley up and was only giving him a ride and she knew nothing of the items he had.Records unit D196 ran the firearm and also a crimina history on Mobley. The firearm returned with no record and Mobley is a convicted felon, with a most recent conviction on 03/02/2010 out of Richmond County Superior court 8369877691 for Robbery.I weighed and field tested all listed Narcotics, all returned with positive results. All Narcotics were turned into 400 Walton Way as evidence under prop 23630.The firearm was turned in as evidence under prop 23631.Mobley was transported to RCJ without incident.[End of Narrative].
