Discretion is advised.]On May 18, 2025, at 1806 hours, I, Deputy Nicholas Toskin (434), responded to [1200 BLOCK] Alden Drive regarding a disturbance at [1700 BLOCK] Tamarind Way.Upon arrival, I met with WITNESS #1, who stated that her daughter, WITNESS #2, and son, REDACTED BY AGENCY, went to the area of [1700 BLOCK] Tamarind Way because [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left his book bag near a bush on the street. [WITNESS #1] stated that she received a call from [WITNESS #2] saying that a man had grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and thrown him into a pool and tried to drown [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [WITNESS #1] was also told that the man threatened to cut [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s hands off with a machete. [WITNESS #1] stated that she told them to leave and come .[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that around 1730 hours, the man called him over from the street, grabbed him by the front of his shirt with both hands, and started shacking him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that while doing that, he was hitting him in the chest and his chin with his fist. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that the man then took a machete he had and was hitting him on the chest, along with threatening to cut both his hands off. [WITNESS #2] stated that she told her that she needed to send that video to her mom, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #2] stated that she saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the man going towards the back yard, but didn’t think anything of it, and the man’s wife told her they were going back there to look for the book bag. [WITNESS #2] said that she was talking with her mom, [WITNESS #1], on the phone when she saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the man coming from behind, both wet. [WITNESS #2] stated that [WITNESS #1] told her to leave, and they both left. Hector stated that he had left to go somewhere and received a call from a neighbor saying some kid was looking around one of his vehicles on his property. Hector stated that he was not far from , so he turned around and was able to identify that the kid was his next-door neighbor’s child from [1700 BLOCK] Tamarind Way. Hector stated that the neighbor’s kid told him he was looking for his friend’s ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s) mask, which he left behind Hector’s car last night. Hector looked at his security video and saw the unknown male walking around in front of his house on the street and his yard. Hector asked his neighbor to call his friends and have him come there, he wanted to talk with him.Hector stated that he only wanted to scare the kid into not wanting to come onto his property.
