Discretion is advised.]On 01/12/2025at approximately 1853 hours, I (Deputy Andrew Zimmer) and Deputy Hardip Singh were dispatched to [3400 BLOCK] Wrightsboro Rd in reference to an Assault.Upon arrival deputies met with the suspect’s mother (NOD) who stated that her son’s girlfriend has been physically harming herself and blaming her son for the injuries. The suspects mother advised Deputies that the incident occurred in [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Spring House Ln.Deputies then knocked on the door of [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Spring House Ln and Babar Saeed (arrested) eventually came to the door after a few minutes of knocking. Babar stated that everything was ok and that the victim [VICTIM ] was drunk. Deputies observed the suspect to be nervous and sweating. When asked where [VICTIM ] was Babar stated that [VICTIM ] was attacking him and his mother since the previous evening. Deputies then observed Babar had blood and marks on his hands which is when he was placed in handcuffs and secured in the back of the patrol car.Entry to the residence was made to ensure that the other subject was ok. Upon entry of the residence, deputies found [VICTIM ] in the rear bedroom laying on the bed. Deputies observed injuries primarily to the victim’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY] entral EMS Medic 17 responded to the scene and transported [VICTIM ] to Wellstar for further treatment. When asked if he (Saeed) assaulted her she said yes.Babar was then read his Miranda warning and once again stated that [VICTIM ] was intoxicated, attacking his mother and himself. Babar also stated that the injuries were self inflicted, and that [VICTIM ] attempted to set the residence on fire. Babar was transported to RCJ.I Deputy Andrew Zimmer then responded to Wellstar where I spoke with [VICTIM ], who stated that she could not recall the events that occurred this evening.
