On 05/25/2025 I Deputy Christopher Rabun Unit 222 and Deputy Brown Unit 226 responded to [4200 BLOCK] James Dr Lt [REDACTED] in regards to a Domestic Dispute.
Upon arrival I Deputy Christopher Rabun made contact with [VICTIM #1] on James Dr close to Buffington Dr. [VICTIM #1] suffered from a laceration to the left hand and wrist. [VICTIM #1] advised he had a verbal dispute with his live-in girlfriend / Mother of his child, (Primary Aggressor) Moore, Asia. [VICTIM #1] stated he had left the residence due to the verbal altercation and when he returned to get his vehicle Moore met him in the yard with an axe demanding he leave the vehicle and leave the residence. [VICTIM #1] advised when he walked towards the vehicle Moore struck him in the left hand with the axe. [VICTIM #1] stated he then ran out of the yard onto James Dr where a passer-by notified the Sheriff Office. [VICTIM #1] was transported to Wellstar MCG by Central EMS.
Moore, Asia stated she and [VICTIM #1] had a verbal dispute that turned physical when [VICTIM #1] grabbed her by the hair, pulling her hair and throwing her around the house. Moore advised [VICTIM #1] locked her out of the house and then left. Moore said she was using an axe and a screw driver trying to get back into the house when [VICTIM #1] came back attempting to take the vehicle. Moore stated she told [VICTIM #1] he could not take the vehicle and he lunged at her. Moore said that is when she swung the axe striking [VICTIM #1] in the left hand.
I notified CID of the incident. Investigator Mark Pettite responded and all information was turned over.
