On 9/9/2024
, I responded to [100 BLOCK] Hollis Cir in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon my arrival I made with [VICTIM ] and [VICTIM ]. [VICTIM ] stated he came into [VICTIM ]’s bedroom when he heard screaming and [VICTIM ] and Sara were fighting. [VICTIM ] stated he jumped in and Sara began throwing him around until he used his bodyweight to hold her down and she began biting him, drawing blood.
[VICTIM ] stated she woke up to Sara barging in her room and attacking her because [VICTIM ] had poured out the liquor Sara was not allowed to have per her probation. [VICTIM ] stated sara struck her and threw her into a corner and began kicking her leg which had recently undergone knee replacement last year. [VICTIM ] stated she and [VICTIM ] were able to hold her down and call 911.
I made with Sara, who was laying in [VICTIM ]’s private bathroom. Sara stated she came and went in her mother’s room to demand her antihistamines. Sara stated she refused to leave her mother’s room when her mother asked her to. Sara then stated her mother slapped her across the face and she defended herself. Sara admitted to biting her father when he held her down. I placed Sara in handcuffs, checking them for fit and double locking them. Deputy Baldwin called in Metro to have everyone treated, and I obtained pictures of everyone’s injuries, including [VICTIM ]’s swollen knee, the bites and bruises on [VICTIM ]’s arms, and Sara’s bruises on her foot from a 2-day old injury. I observed that Sara did not sustain any injuries from the altercation.
I placed Sara under arrest for Battery and placed her in my patrol vehicle and seatbelting her in. I had to adjust the seatbelt off of her neck after she was settled. I transported Sara to Paulding County Jail and turned her over to the on-duty jail staff without incident.
