Discretion is advised.]On 10/04/2024around 1030 hours, I, Cpl B Schiffer 516, responded to the 1000 block of Rocky Branch Rd in regard to a house fire. I arrived on scene with other Deputies. Upon arrival at the house I noticed the house was on fire with flames coming out.When I arrived on scene firefighters made me aware of a subject who was on top of a shipping style container in the backyard that appeared to be interfering with their ability to fight the fire being in a close proximity to the house fire. Deputies went to make with the subject who refused to get down after being repeatedly asked. The subject was finally told force would be used against him if he did not get down, and he complied. The subject was questioned on the other side of the container from myself and detained for other charges. An Investigator climbed up to the area the subject was located at and found narcotics and 2 bags of suspected clothing along with playing cards and multiple drinks.The firefighters finished fighting the fire and fire investigators were called to the scene. The incident was turned over to investigations and the fire department.[End of Narrative].
