Discretion is advised.]On this date, 02/22/2025I, Deputy Price 9131 responded to a Fire residence call on [100 BLOCK] Belmont Drive reported by Mr. [VICTIM ] and Mrs. [VICTIM ], the victims, and grandparents of the offender/Tiffany Strawter.After arriving on scene, I saw a woman sitting on the ground in front of the garage. I asked her what her name was and she stated it is Tiffany Strawter, the granddaughter. I saw blood on her hand and asked her what happened. She stated it was her blood and her grandparents attacked her for “telling the truth” And stated that her grandparents, [VICTIM ], and [VICTIM ], were evil for “setting her up”. I and other deputies then detained Tiffany and placed in the back of a patrol car.I then went into the residence to check on [VICTIM ] and [VICTIM ] as well to speak with them.[VICTIM ] stated that they were all in the living room watching a religious service when Tiffany started playing loud music off her phone that had a lot of cuss words in it. [VICTIM ] stated that her and her husband, [VICTIM ], then asked Tiffany to turn down her music because they were trying to worship. [VICTIM ] stated that Tiffany became very upset and verbally agitated. [VICTIM ] stated that Tiffany then came at her with closed fists, hitting her in the nose and lip which left bruising to both. [VICTIM ] then stated Tiffany went inside the bathroom and started a fire inside of the bathroom trash can.[VICTIM ] stated that when he noticed Tiffany was setting a fire, he attempted to go in the bathroom to put it out, however at first attempt he was hit in the head by Tiffany with a picture frame that left a large laceration on his head as well as a cut on his finger. After this moment [VICTIM ] stated that Tiffany ran outside and he was able to put out the fire.Both [VICTIM ] and [VICTIM ] stated that Tiffany has had mental illness history and had been previously 10-13. They both stated that Tiffany had times in the past where she had gotten angered and lashed out verbally, but this incident was the first time it had gotten physical. [VICTIM ] was treated for his wounds. Pictures were taken and will be added to the report.Tiffany was arrested and moved to another patrol vehicle where her handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked. Tiffany was then transported to the Newton County Detention Center. Once I arrived at the Detention Center, I secured my weapon and magazine inside the patrol vehicle. Tiffany was then turned over to the staff at the Detention Center.[End of Narrative].
