The IRS confiscated an investment return from India that was over $300,000 and is being held until she pays the IRS. When the complainant asked for her money back, they sent text messages. The friend stated that the IRS charged her an extra $3,500 on her taxes due to her not paying off the $8,500 debt. The complainant gave her the $8,500 cash loan. The complainant began doing re and discovered that this friend has gone to multiple elderly people she knows and requested funds from them as well, changing her story as to why she needs it and has received approximately $15,000.I informed the complainant of the warrant process, and a report would be ready in three to five business days.[End of Narrative].
