Discretion is advised.]On 01-31-2025, at approximately 1014 hours, I was dispatched to [400 BLOCK] South 2nd Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. Dispatch advised that a male subject was actively attempting to get in the of his wife in which he does not live with and beating on the front door to get in. Disptach advised that they could hear the beating of the door through the phone while speaking with the caller.Once on scene I made with the male subject on the front porch, Justin Dale Cochran. He advised that he had got out of jail on Wednesday for a criminal trespass charge. He stated that his wife, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had drove him to Whitfield County to meet with probation. Once he was inside, he stated that she had dropped him and lett him there. He then advised that his buddy had to give him a ride back to get his belongings from the house.When he got back to his wife’s house at the address listed above, she had placed his black back pack outside with his belongings inside and locked the door. He stated that he lived there and had been since he got out of jail so he could see his kids on Wednesday. I then went inside to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]She advised that Mr. Cochran and herself had been separated since September of 2024, but are still married. She advised that in November of 2024she had moved into the apartment above and Mr. Cochran had still lived in Mountain View Estates and not together. According to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] they had not lived together since then.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she did not want Mr. Cochran there anymore due to his drug usage and the only items that was in her residence was the bag she placed outside and his mail from his mountain view address. She also stated she let him come stay the last two days to see their kids since he was in jail and he did not live there and hasn’t.I advised Mr. Cochran that she did not want him there anymore and needed to leave because they could not get along and his drug usage. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not want him trespassed.Mr. Cochran was sitting outside on the porch while I was speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] inside and was listening to her explain to me what was going on. While out on the porch he kept trying to argue with what she was telling me outside and using obscene language loud enough to be heard from inside the residence. I had to tell him multiple times to stop talking and causing an issue or he would be escorted to the jail.After concluding speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Mr. Cochran was advised to leave the residence and he was not happy about it. He was escorted to the parking lot to leave. While I was adding information for this report, he continued to yell and use obscene language toward his wife while other residents were outside having to hear it and also flipped her off using his middle finger. He then got in Officer Peden’s patrol vehicle and continued to stick his hand out the window to flip her off and scream using obscene language toward her.I then removed him from the vehicle and placed him under arrest for disorderly conduct. He had plenty of chances to leave and the issue be halted without further problems but he chose to continue his behavior causing alarm to other residents.He was then transported to the jail and turned over to the jail staff with his belongings and charged on city citation for disorderly conduct.[End of Narrative].
