Discretion is advised.]On 01/26/2025at about 0113 hours I, Ofc Brackett, stopped a red Ford Fusion at Budget Inn in reference to non-working tag lights and a tinted tag cover over the license plate. I first observed the vehicle turning southbound onto S 3rd Ave from Blackwell Rd. During the stop I gained consent to the vehicle from the driver.The passenger, Jennifer Verner, was found to be in possession of glass pipes with suspected Methamphetamine residue, one of which was hidden on her person. She was also in possession of a small jar with residue. Verner was arrested for possession of the drug related objects. After being transported to the jail, a baggie of methamphetamine was found, torn and spilled, in the back seat of my patrol vehicle where Verner had been seated. Verner had attempted to hide the baggie in the seams in the wall that separate the seat from the K9 kennel, causing some of the substance to get inside the kennel.[End of Narrative].
