On November 13, 2024
at 7:51 PM Corporal Vannoy and I, Deputy Dillard were dispatched to [500 BLOCK] Ridgeview Circle in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Corporal Vannoy and I arrived on scene and made with [VICTIM ] and [WITNESS ] in the living room of the residence. [VICTIM ] stated that she was lying in the bed and Andrew Groves was arguing with her. She stated that Andrew picked up a jar of mayonnaise and threw it at her. The jar hit [VICTIM ] in the head and left a gash on the left side of her head. EMS came to check out [VICTIM ]’s head and then transported her to Murray Medical. [VICTIM ] stated that the jar was plastic.
I then spoke with [WITNESS ] and he stated that he heard a loud sound and he went out side to check it out. He stated that he saw [VICTIM ] walking up to the house from the camper. He stated that he saw Andrew still sitting in the camper. [WITNESS ] stated that he went down to the camper and asked Andrew what had happen and he stated that [VICTIM ] was throwing things at him. [WITNESS ] stated that Andrew went outside and then left in his truck.
Andrew had left the scene by the time units had arrived. Units checked [100 BLOCK] Milas Winkler and had negative . A warrant for Aggravated Assault will be issued for Andrew Groves.
The jar was never located.
