Ferrell stated that she encountered [VICTIM #1] there. Ferrell stated that she intended to speak with [VICTIM #1] about some rumors that she had been hearing. Ferrell stated that [VICTIM #1] became angry and struck her several times and put her in a headlock before she was able to leave.I then went to the Texaco where I observed [VICTIM #1] standing at his vehicle in the parking lot. I began to ask [VICTIM #1] about the incident. [VICTIM #1] was initial reluctant to speak and stated that nothing had happened. [VICTIM #1] then attempted to walk away from me, at which time I displayed my Taser and gave [VICTIM #1] commands to stop. [VICTIM #1] did stop and was subsequently detained in handcuffs and placed in the rear of a patrol car while I continued my investigation.Upon speaking with the store clerk inside, I learned that there was video surveillance in the store but that it would not be accessible on this date. The clerk also stated that she believed that Ferrell was the predominant aggressor, and that she confronted [VICTIM #1] in an aggressive manner. The clerk did not observe [VICTIM #1] strike Ferrell.With the facts known at the time, I informed [VICTIM #1] that I was releasing him from detention until I could review the video when it became available. I informed [VICTIM #1] of the possible outcomes, and informed him that I would contact him regarding my decision of the disposition.A short while later, at approximately 1015 hours, I was dispatched to Pine Tree Cir lot [REDACTED] in reference to a fight that had just occurred. Upon arrival, I observed a large crowd in the area including [VICTIM #1]. I began to conduct field interviews and ultimately spoke with the complainant, [VICTIM #2].[VICTIM #2] stated that she and her daughter, [VICTIM #3], were visiting family at lot [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #2] stated that Fairin Ferrell then walked into the yard of lot [REDACTED] from the woods and began verbally challenging [VICTIM #2] about the same rumors that she had confronted [VICTIM #1] about. [VICTIM #2] stated that when Ferrell refused to leave and seemed to seek physical conflict, [VICTIM #3] stepped off of the porch at lot [REDACTED] to put herself in between her mother and Ferrell. [VICTIM #2] stated that the two then became involved in a physical altercation which concluded when Ferrell was pushed to the ground. Ferrell left walking after the incident.I then made contact with Ferrell who was at her residence at [900 BLOCK] Green Meadow Ct.
