Discretion is advised.]On Friday, November 15, 2024at approximately 22:28 hours I, Deputy Cox, along with Sgt Leggett, was dispatched to GA 401 SB near MM 190 in reference to a fight on a Greyhound bus.Upon arrival, two male subjects were sitting outside of the bus. Sgt Leggett and I tried to speak to one male subject, but was unable to, due to the second subject interrupting. Sgt Leggett then took one male subject, later on identified as Jameson Saint Jean, to the front of the bus. I made with the second subject, later on identified as Anatoly Anatolyevic Gurov.Gurov stated a verbal altercation between him and Saint Jean started when he leaned his seat back to rest and Saint Jean threatened him. Gurov stated after approximately 10 minutes of verbal arguing, Saint Jean punched him, Gurov then struck back. I observed a small laceration on Gurov’s nose and forehead, he stated he was fine and did not need medical attention.After Sgt. Leggett spoke with the other occupants on the bus, both subjects were placed in hand cuffs behind the back. The hand cuffs were double locked and checked for fit. I then escorted Saint Jean to the back of Sgt Leggett’s patrol vehicle, afterwards I escorted Gurov to the back of Deputy Powell’s patrol vehicle.Saint Jean and Gurov were transported to the Monroe County Jail and charged with Disorderly Conduct- County Ordinance 7.5-2(1). They were then turned over to the jail staff. Both patrol vehicles were ed prior to and after transporting Gurov and Saint Jean.Both subjects were ran through GCIC. Gurov’s Information came back and put in Linked Files. Saint Jean had a Haitiain ID and did not come back through GCIC.[End of Narrative].
