I responded to a call at [400 BLOCK] Atlanta Hwy. in reference to unknown trouble requested by Deputy C. Norman.Upon my arrival at 1440 hrs. Chief R. Sellers, Deputy W. Clark were on scene along with Warren Co EMS. EMS was requested on scene by Deputy C. Norman for an evaluation. Offender was identified as Levory Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was refusing to allow EMS personnel to evaluate or render care. Mr. Hamilton then entered the residence with EMT [VICTIM ] behind him. Mr. Hamilton tried to attack someone inside the residence, but EMT [VICTIM ] was able to come between the two. EMT [VICTIM ] had to physically escort MR. Hamilton out of the residence. EMT [VICTIM ] was assaulted by Mr. Hamilton causing minor abrasions to his right arm.Chief Sellers took Mr. Hamilton to the ground in attempt to detain him. Deputy W. Clark and I assisted Chief Sellers but with resistance from Mr. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton had to be physically carried part of the way to my patrol car. He then refused to get into the car by himself.Mr. Hamilton was transported to McDuffie Co LEC and charged with :Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officer 3 countsObstruction of EMS 1 countAggravated Assault 1 countFelony warrants were taken.[End of Narrative]. On Friday October 11, 2024
, at 1430 hrs. I responded to a call at [400 BLOCK] Atlanta Hwy. in reference to unknown trouble requested by Deputy C. Norman.
Upon my arrival at 1440 hrs. Chief R. Sellers, Deputy W. Clark were on scene along with Warren Co EMS. EMS was requested on scene by Deputy C. Norman for an evaluation. Offender was identified as Levory Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was refusing to allow EMS personnel to evaluate or render care. Mr. Hamilton then entered the residence with EMT [VICTIM ] behind him. Mr. Hamilton tried to attack someone inside the residence, but EMT [VICTIM ] was able to come between the two. EMT [VICTIM ] had to physically escort MR. Hamilton out of the residence. EMT [VICTIM ] was assaulted by Mr. Hamilton causing minor abrasions to his right arm.
Chief Sellers took Mr. Hamilton to the ground in attempt to detain him. Deputy W. Clark and I assisted Chief Sellers but with resistance from Mr. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton had to be physically carried part of the way to my patrol car. He then refused to get into the car by himself.
Mr. Hamilton was transported to McDuffie Co LEC and charged with :
Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officer 3 counts
Obstruction of EMS 1 count
Aggravated Assault 1 count
Felony warrants were taken.
