Vehicle 1 was stopped facing east on Mattie Street waiting to make a left turn onto West Oglethorpe Highway, Vehicle 1 started to make its left turn. Vehicle 2 swerved to the left to try to avoid Vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 impacted with Vehicle 2. The driver of Vehicle 2 was ejected from Vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was wedged under Vehicle 1’s front bumper and it was dragged across West Oglethorpe Highway to the northbound shoulder.Driver 1 stated he was stopped on Mattie Street waiting to turn left onto West Oglethorpe Highway. He looked both ways several times. He thought it was clear and started to make his left turn. He said Vehicle 2 came out of nowhere. His vehicle impacted with Vehicle 2.Driver 2 did not make a statement due to her injuries.Witnesses [WITNESS ] and [WITNESS ] stated that they saw Vehicle 1 stopped on Mattie Street facing east.
