Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE #1 on April 20, 2025]On April 20, 2025 at 0104 hrs, I was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Capstone Connector (Westover Senior Village) in reference to a domestic dispute.I was advised by dispatch, from a third party caller, that an altercation was taking place at Apt [REDACTED], at the complex. The third party caller also advised the aggressor was a black male, wearing gray pants and a black sweat shirt named Raekwon Kennedy. I arrived on scene at 0109 hrs, and I observed a black male matching the description from the third party caller standing in front of Apt [REDACTED]. I made with the male, who identified himself as Raekwon Kennedy, and I asked him if an altercation took place. Kennedy stated that no altercation took place. It should be noted that Kennedy began to ramble about things outside of the situation at hand, and became very irate with deputies on scene.While talking to Kennedy, a female (later identified as [VICTIM #1]) approached me and stated “He hit me”. [VICTIM #1] stated that she confronted Kennedy about smoking an unknown substance. [VICTIM #1] stated that she went to her room, and Kennedy later entered her room and struck her multiple times in her face. I observed a large lump on [VICTIM #1]’s forehead. [VICTIM #1] stated after being struck she ran outside, but Kennedy began to chase her. [VICTIM #1] denied EMS multiple times.Based on [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and statements, Kennedy was placed under arrest (DL/TC) for Battery Family Violence (Warrant # W25-198) and Exploitation and Intimidation of Elders. Kennedy was ed incident-to-arrest for weapons and contraband and a small baggy of a green leafy substance believed to marijuana was found and properly disposed of. Kennedy was transported to the Lee County Jail and turned over to jail staff.A warrant for Battery Family Violence was completed and signed by Judge Thurman. A meeting with Judge Thurman will be held April 21 in reference to getting the Exploitation and Intimidation of Elders warrant signed. A copy of the warrant and Victim Notification Form was submitted to Cpl. Ledden of the Lee County Jail. After explaining everything to Judge Thurman and Brown, judge Brown signed the warrant for Exploitation and Intimidation of Elders (Warrant #: W25-200). The warrant was taken to the Lee County Jail and submitted to Detention Officer Orvin.[End of Narrative].
