Discretion is advised.]On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at approximately 2338 hours, Barnesville Police officers responded to [100 BLOCK] Cameron Circle Barnesville, Georgia in reference to a domestic disturbance, physical altercation, in progress.While en route, Lamar County dispatchers advised the involved subjects had left the apartment complex, and were traveling north bound on Forsyth Street toward the downtown area. Dispatch further advised it was two separated vehicles. Vehicle 1 was occupied by Offender 2 (Jayden Pennington) and Witness [WITNESS #1]. Vehicle 2 was occupied by Timothy Butler (Offender 1). Dispatch stated they received a call from Offender 2 that vehicle 2 was following behind them trying to push them off the road as to intimidate the occupants in vehicle 1 to stop.While Barnesville Police officers were traveling south bound on Forsyth Street contact was made with both vehicles at the intersection of Forysth Street and College Drive. Offender 1 had his head out of the driver’s side window appearing to be screaming at the occupants in vehicle 1, however, due to the distance it was unclear what Offender 1 was saying to the occupants in Vehicle 1.A traffic stop was made of both vehicles on the roadway making contact with all subjects. Barnesville Police officers spoke with all subjects mentioned within the upper section of this report as to conduct a preliminary investigation into the complaint.The investigation revealed that Offender 1 and Offender 2 got into a verbal and physical altercation while at [100 BLOCK] Cameron Circle, because Offender 2 was there to retrieve his car he had loaned to [VICTIM #1] (Victim). During the retrieval of his car Offender 1 and Victim got into a heated argument in front of Offender 2. Offender 2 pushed Offender 1 telling him to not talk to his mother that way. Sometime after the physical altercation Witness pulled up to pick up Offender 2 to get him away from the hostile situation, and when Offender 2 got into the Vehicle 1, Offender 1 got into his vehicle and drove aggressively behind Vehicle 1 as to intimidate and/or harass Offender 2 and Witness to possibly cause them bodily injury.At which time Offender 1 and Offender 2 were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct (62-2). Offender 1 was charged with a secondary offense of Aggressive Driving (40-6-397). Both were secured by seat belts and transported separately in different uniform patrol vehicles to the Lamar County Detention Center and issued their citations. Both Offenders were turned over to detention staff and able to post bond.A contraband checked was conducted of both patrol vehicle rear seat, no contraband found.[End of Narrative].
