On 10/25/24, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Peachtree Street for an agency assist.
I made with Jones County Animal Control Officers. They reported that the three dogs at the residence were being neglected. I witnessed one dog without food or water and it’s bones were visible through its skin. It had scabs and was losing hair in several places. I witnessed two other dogs both without easy access to food or water. They also were covered in scabs and losing hair but were not as dangerously skinny as the first dog. All three dogs were removed by animal control. Pictures and videos of their condition were collected by animal control. The owners were not and I will be applying for arrest warrants on both parties for cruelty to animals.
