On Friday, May 24, 2025 at approximately 10:28 P.M. I was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Creekside Dr. Gray GA. In reference to a Domestic with Problems.

I arrived and made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. She advised me that her husband James Livingston had put his hand around her throat and penned her against the wall, choking her to the point that she could not breathe. I checked for marks and a red hand print was visible on her throat. The fingerprints were on the left side and the thumb print was on the right side. Pictures were taken of her throat. [VICTIM #1] advised that James was no longer on the scene, she stated that she watched him empty three bottles of pills into his mouth and swallow. The pills were identified as Tramadol, Flexeril and Trazodone, after swallowing them he left in his truck.

I advised dispatchers of that information and asked to dispatch EMS to his son’s address at [900 BLOCK] Lite-N-Tie Rd. Gray GA. [VICTIM #1] thought that he would probably go there first. However, when a deputy arrived at that address James had not been there, but they would notify us if he does show up there.

I advised [VICTIM #1] that we could not locate James at this time, but I will be issuing warrants for his arrest. Before leaving, I asked [VICTIM #1] if there was a place that she could take her and the children for the night or weekend for their safety. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not wish to wake the children and leave. I was concerned that if he returned while being intoxicated and out of his mind on pills that there was no telling as to what he would do to either of them. James also got [VICTIM #1]’ cell phone and bent it with his hands rendering it useless. That was another concern of mine, [VICTIM #1] had no other way to contact the Sheriff’s Office if James did return.

Warrants taken are:
Aggravated Assault
Criminal Trespass
