On 07/22/2024
at approximately 0254 hrs, I, Ofc. Tarn, responded to the area of [200 BLOCK] Camellia Cir in reference to shots fired.
While enroute, I was flagged down by a female in a Kia Rio who pulled into the parking lot of the Captain D’s at 315 N Davis Dr. As the Kia pulled into the parking lot I noticed the rear windshield had what appeared to be bullet holes in it. I pulled in behind the Kia and notified Dispatch.
I made with the female who advised she had been the caller for [300 BLOCK] Camellia Cir, [VICTIM ] advised she and her friend, [VICTIM ] (later identified at [VICTIM ]), had just arrived at [300 BLOCK] Camellia Cir from Waffle House. She stated that as they pulled up she noticed a black male wearing a white in color tshirt crouched down at the side of her residence. She stated she recognized the male as her ex-boyfriend, Sir Oglesby, who she had been having issues with lately following their break up.
[VICTIM ] stated that she got out of her vehicle and told Sir, “It’s [VICTIM ], we can see you” then again stated that they could see him. She stated that [VICTIM ] then asked her if that was Sir and she advised it was, at which point [VICTIM ] got out of the vehicle with his arms up and stated “hey man what’s up” to Sir. [VICTIM ] stated that Sir then stood up with a black in color Glock .40 handgun and began shooting. She stated that she got into the car and drove off while calling E911 but did not realized her car had been hit until later.
[VICTIM ] stated that while she had been on her way from Monticello on 07/21/2024
Sir had been on the phone with her making crazy statements such as he had killed his past baby momma and that he had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] She stated that since they broke up he has been repeatedly messaging her from different numbers after she has asked him to stop. She arrived at approximately 0000 hrs this date from Monticello before going to Waffle House with [VICTIM ].
[VICTIM ] gave me permission to look in her vehicle for the bullet or fragments. Upon opening the rear driver’s side door, I observed a bullet fragment on the floor board on that side of the vehicle. I took photographs, collected it, and later submitted it into Property as Evidence. I took photographs of the vehicle and attached them to this report. Based on the damage to the vehicle, it appears as though a bullet went through the rear windshield and through the part separating the passenger compartment and the trunk, where it then struck the interior of the trunk on the passenger side. I was unable to locate the bullet at this time.
While I was speaking with [VICTIM ], she pointed out a dark colored vehicle that had driven past and was turning around at N Davis Dr and Vickie Dr. She stated that if that vehicle was a Buick or Cadillac then it was possibly Sir’s friend Torrey. The vehicle then drove south on N Davis Dr and turned east onto Green St. [VICTIM ] stated that if that was Torrey he was possibly heading to Macon with Sir. a short time later, the same vehicle turned north onto N Davis Dr from Green St again. I pointed out the vehicle to Sgt. Mann who began to leave our current location to stop the vehicle. Lt. Bish then drove past and Sgt. Mann notified him of the vehicle via radio. Lt. Bish then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, see his supplement for further.
I provided [VICTIM ] with this case number and advised her how to obtain a copy of this report. Ofc. King transported [VICTIM ] to Headquarters to speak with Det. Garcia and I waited on scene until Bowtie Towing arrived on scene to collect the Kia and transport it to Headquarters as Evidence. The Kia and the Buick, Torrey and Sir had been in were transported to Headquarters and placed into the Sally Port with Evidence vouchers.
