, I Sgt. William Mitchelson was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Scott Road in Elko, in reference to domestic. The caller/victim juvenile, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], told dispatch that her uncle, Rodney Crenshaw, assaulted her and she was returning back to the scene from Unadilla.
I arrived on scene and made with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the front yard at [200 BLOCK] Scott Road. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Rodney’s girlfriend [REDACTED], called her and asked her to come over to [200 BLOCK] Scott Road so they can give her twenty dollars to go to the store for them. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that her boyfriend drove her to the residence and he remained in the vehicle while she went inside. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated inside Rodney and [REDACTED] told her that Rodney was going to assault her boyfriend. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she attempted to leave out of the front door of the residence, but Rodney stood in front of the door blocking her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she pushed Rodney and he grabbed her and started throw her around the livingroom. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that her stomach and leg hit a sharp end of a table causing her to have visible injuries to her stomach. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she was available to get out of the residence and left the scene with her boyfriend. [REDACTED]’s boyfriend was not on the scene while interviewing her.
I attempted to make with Rodney at that time and interview him about the incident. I knocked on the front door and was met by [WITNESS ], the owner of [200 BLOCK] Scott Road. [WITNESS ] stated that [REDACTED] ed her a few days before looking for a place to stay. [WITNESS ] stated that [REDACTED]’s boyfriend Rodney stopped by earlier in the night and she did not know that they called [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to come over. [WITNESS ] stated that she was in her room when Rodney and [REDACTED] started yelling at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and then heard items in the livingroom being knocked down. [WITNESS ] stated that she came out into the livingroom as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was leaving out the front door and told [REDACTED] and Rodney to get out of her house. [WITNESS ] stated that everyone left the residence running out the front door and she did not know where anyone went.
I ed Sgt. Andrews with Juvenile due to the age of the victim and nature of the crime. I advised him that I would be seeking warrants on Rodney due to the physical evidence and testimony given by the victim and witness on the scene. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was advised to return to her grandmother/guardians residence, [REDACTED], in Unadilla, and tell her that I will be seeking warrants on Rodney for the assault. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left the scene with her friends that gave her a ride back to make the report.
