On Friday, November 1, 2024
, I, Deputy B. Durham went to [900 BLOCK] Washington St in reference to serving a warrant for case # 24-21748. Deputy Mas and Perry Pd was on scene.
Once we arrived on the scene, we heard multiple gunshots coming from the backyard of the residence. At that time, I informed dispatch of the shots fired and asked for Sgt. Mitchelson to be en route to my location. I retrieved my duty rifle from the back of my patrol vehicle. I took cover across the street ([900 BLOCK] Washington St). While seeking cover, I saw the garage in the back of the residence. In the garage, I saw a white male, later identified as Michael Hull. From my cover position, I announced that this was the Sheriff’s Office, and I instructed Michael to walk to watch to the end of the driveway with his hands up. Michael refused to comply with my instructions. He stated that he was unarmed and he was not coming to the end of the driveway.
After Michael refused to comply with my instructions, he returned to the residence. Michael continued to go back and forth out of the residence. While he was inside the residence, a lady identified as [REDACTED] exited the residence through the front door. She was detained by Deputy Mas and placed in the back of his patrol vehicle. A few minutes later, Michael exited the back of the residence and was taken into custody by Perry Pd. Michael was transported to the Houston County Detention Center to be booked on his warrant by Deputy Mas. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]
While Deputy Mas transported Michael to the jail, the residence was locked down until Lt. Noler and Sgt. Ross arrived on the scene to serve the residence warrant. Once Sgt. Ross and Lt. Noler arrived on the scene; I assisted them with ing the residence [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. After the was complete, I left the residence and informed the jail of the additional charges for Michael.
Weapons and Evidence was taken to the Houston County Sheriff office to be place in evidence.
Additional warrants will be taken for the charges.
