Long that James Matthew Smith, had been criminally trespassed from Circle K. On 2/6/25 at 0200 hours, Lt. Yarian spotted Smith sitting outside of the store while he was on the way to a priority call. Ofc.Sims spoke with the employee [WITNESS ], who said that she told Smith to leave the store. While on patrol, I located Smith near the Dollar Tree. He was arrested and handcuffed to the rear. His cuffs were double locked and checked for proper fit. I conducted a GCIC check and it revealed that Smith had an active warrant for his arrest for probation violation. He was transported to the Henry County Jail and issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct.[End of Narrative].
