Lewis 17 received a call about a suspicious accident from Habersham County fire and Ems. Upon arrival I ed the victim identified as [VICTIM ], at the time of she was in the floor of the bathroom located in the basement of [100 BLOCK] Magnolia villas dr located within the city limits of Cornelia Georgia. At this time there was a male in the bathroom with her identified as Joseph Colon, he stated that he was in the living room on the couch when he heard a loud thud from the bathroom and when he went inside, he found [VICTIM ] on the floor bleeding from the head. Colon stated that [VICTIM ] had been drinking and that he had maybe one drink. During this conversation with Colon I noticed that [VICTIM ] wouldnt make eye with anyone, and she wouldnt really speak, she did have a large cut just above her eyebrow on her left side.I had Colon leave the bathroom to see if [VICTIM ] would talk to me and tell me what happened, when Colon let the bathroom [VICTIM ] stated that he hit and pushed me. I asked who he is and she pointed at Colons Georgia drivers license. I asked her where he hit her, and she stated that he hit her on the head and that he grabbed and pushed her everywhere. [VICTIM ] did have what appeared to be fingerprint bruises and red marks located to her left shoulder and her left bicep. I asked her how she got those, and she stated that Colon grabbed her and pushed her, [VICTIM ] did appear to be intoxicated, but she was able to talk to me and provide details on what happened. I spoke with two other individuals at , [WITNESS ] and [WITNESS ].Both [WITNESS ] and [WITNESS ] filled out a witness statement, [WITNESS ] stated that he was outside smoking, and he heard a loud noise come from inside the , when he went back in Colon was in the bathroom with [VICTIM ] and stated that she had fallen. [WITNESS ] Stated that she didnt really know these people and that they heard a noise from the bathroom and that [VICTIM ] had fallen and hit her head is what Colon told her. [VICTIM ] was transported to the hospital in Gainesville by Habersham County ambulance and treated for her injurys. Colon was transported to the Habersham County jail and released without incident.
