Discretion is advised.]On August 31, 2025 at approximately 2055 hours Deputy G.B PHILLIPS with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to the Gordon County Fire Department Station 6 (4861 Red Bud Rd) Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia in reference to a female harassing the firemen.The complainant, Lieutenant J.B HOWARD with the Gordon County Fire Department stated that a female had been harassing him and his employees at the station. LT HOWARD stated the female started arguing about high school football then kept stating she needed some officer’s email, but LT HOWARD advised her they cannot help her. LT HOWARD stated she started to become irate and started screaming and using vulgar language causing a scene. LT HOWARD advised that she started banging on the stations doors and windows, but he kept advising her that they could not help her. LT HOWARD stated she then began walking in the roadway towards Allen’s Grocery.Deputy PHILLIPS located the female, later identified as JENNIFER HARRIS walking in the driveway of [1000 BLOCK] School House Rd while holding an alcoholic beverage, a 24 ounce mikes harder lemonade. Deputy PHILLIPS started to speak to JENNIFER and observed an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. JENNIFER had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. JENNIFER stated she needed help from the fire department, but they started yelling at her so she left. JENNIFER stated she wanted officer’s emails from the fire department, but they wouldn’t give it to her.JENNIFER was rambling about random things and was very incoherent while speaking. Deputy PHILLIPS suspected JENNIFER to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage based of his training, knowledge, and experience. Deputy PHILLIPS advised JENNIFER she was under arrest. JENNIFER started walking away, so Deputy PHILLIPS commanded her to put her hands behind her back. JENNIFER crossed her arms around her chest not complying with Deputy PHILLIPS commands. Deputy PHILLIPS grabbed JENNIFERS arm as she tensed up and started pulling away.Deputy PHILLIPS continued commanding JENNIFER she was under arrest and to place her hands behind her back, but she kept pulling away and refusing to comply. Deputy PHILLIPS pulled her to the ground to gain control to be able to place her in handcuffs. JENNIFER kept resisting by placing her right arm under her stomach, but Deputy PHILLIPS was able to place her in handcuffs. JENNIFER began getting irate while screaming and using vulgar language to Deputy PHILLIPS.JENNIFER was placed under arrest and transported to the Gordon County Jail.JENNIFER was charged with Obstruction and public drunk.[End of Narrative].
