On Sunday October 28, 2024
at approximately 2106 hours, Deputy B.G POTTER with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to [300 BLOCK] Cardinal Boulevard Gordon County Georgia in reference to a male subject acting violent by throwing objects around the residence and screaming vulgar language.
Upon arrival Deputy POTTER spoke with [WITNESS ] who stated that she can’t handle her son acting this way anymore. Deputy POTTER asked [WITNESS ] what happened. [WITNESS ] stated that her son, CORY BREEDING has been diagnosed with several mental disorders. [WITNESS ] stated that CORY lost his headphones and he believes someone had stolen them. [WITNESS ] stated that she went and bought CORY a new pair of headphones earlier this date. [WITNESS ] stated that when she got with the new headphones CORY stated that the headphones were to fancy for him. [WITNESS ] stated she tried to explain to CORY that she had only paid five dollars for the headphones. [WITNESS ] stated that CORY immediately flipped out and became irate. While Deputy POTTER was gathering more information he overheard CORY screaming inside the residence while he was standing outside. Deputy POTTER along with other Deputies interred the residence and placed CORY under arrest for disorderly conduct.
[WITNESS ] and her husband, [REDACTED] asked Deputy POTTER what they could do to help CORY because jail was not for him. Deputy POTTER explained that they need to go to the court house and get a 10-13 order for CORY. [WITNESS ] and [REDACTED] stated that they would.
Deputy POTTER transported CORY to the Gordon County Jail without incident. Deputy POTTER filled out a Magistrate Citation for Disorderly Conduct on CORY.
