Rome, GA 30165 for a call involving a man who accused of showing his privates to multiple females in the area of Heritage Park.When I arrived, other officers were already questioning Christopher Whatley about the situation. Whatley matched the description of the suspect that dispatch had given us. Whatley claimed none of the things he was being accused of happened.The victim, [VICTIM ], had already left the scene when I arrived, so I got her cell phone number from another woman that was friends with her that was still in the area. I talked to [VICTIM ] on the phone and she said “I was trying to light a cigarette when a man came up behind me and used a credit card and swiped [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and when I turned around, he had his [REDACTED BY AGENCY] out.” [VICTIM ] eventually arrived back at the scene and spoke with Officer Jackson. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]I then placed Whatley under arrest for sexual battery and public indecency using handcuffs to the rear, checked for tightness and double locked.
