Discretion is advised.]On February 25th, 2025, at approximately 21:57 hours, I, Deputy Calvo, badge 99, was dispatched to a discharging firearms call at I-20 westbound mile marker 40, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.I was advised by Sgt. Gray badge 75 to meet with the complainant [VICTIM ] at 8471 Earl D Lee Blvd, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Upon arrival, was made with [VICTIM ] and his wife, [REDACTED]. [VICTIM ] advised me that while driving westbound on I-20, someone pulled up next to him and started trying to argue with him. [VICTIM ] advised he was unable to understand them due to driving on I-20 and rolled his window back up. An unknown Black male then pulled out a firearm and shot at him, striking his 18-wheeler 4 times. [VICTIM ] advised he was unable to tell what kind of vehicle it was or what the tag on the vehicle was. [VICTIM ] then ed his boss to retrieve video footage of the incident captured on his dash camera. [VICTIM ] then advised the dash camera captured the whole incident. In the video, you can see a silver SUV pull up next to [VICTIM ] and then speed off while shooting at him. Upon looking at the vehicle there was 2 bullet holes in the drivers side door and 2 on the exhaust near the door.Investigator Almond badge 36 then arrived on the scene and requested that [VICTIM ] send him the video footage. I then obtained statement forms from [VICTIM ] and [REDACTED]. The scene was then turned over to Investigator Almond, and I returned to my assigned patrol duties. Both statement forms were then placed in the patrol room tray to be scanned into this report.[End of Narrative].
