Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE on November 02, 2024]I responded in normal patrol mode to 414 W Oglethorpe Blvd (Travelers Inn) in reference to disorderly conduct.I arrived on scene with additional units canvassing the area for a B/M subject wearing a dark red jacket and shorts. Units made with guests and the manager who reported the subject knocking on their doors at 0600hrs on 11/02/2024. The manager reported to an officer on scene the subject was cursing and yelling while knocking on multiple guests doors. I observed the subject at the Burger King with the jacket in his hand. The subject took off running on foot northbound across W Oglethorpe Blvd once we attempted to make with him. The subject was apprehended and detained with handcuffs double-locked to the rear.The subject was identified as B/M Jerry Davis who did not have any active warrants per a GCIC/NCIC computer check. Davis stated he had not been taking his medication and wanted to go to jail for his actions. Davis continued to curse and act belligerent while in custody. Davis was ed incident to arrest with negative results for weapons or contraband.Davis was cited for disorderly conduct (BB001577) and interference with city officers prohibited (BB00578).Davis also the suspect for a theft by taking – firearm that occurred on 11/01/2024(see case 24-014956). A supplement was completed for the original report.I transported Davis to the DOCO JAIL without incident. I placed my duty weapon into the rear of my patrol vehicle. I escorted Davis inside the intake area where he complained of no injuries. Davis was released to the intake staff.This case has been cleared by arrest.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE on November 02, 2024]We, (Cpl. N. Richardson and Ptl. E. Moore) responded in emergency patrol mode to [900 BLOCK] Corn Ave. in reference to pointing a gun at another. Upon arrival, we made with black male [VICTIM ].[VICTIM ] stated that he had a black male, who he did not know, stay with him. [VICTIM ] stated that he and the male was drinking in the residence. [VICTIM ] stated that the male then became irate and grabbed his Taurus 9mm G3C (S/N: ADL958675). [VICTIM ] stated that the male then began striking his TV several times with the gun. [VICTIM ] stated that the male then went outside and got on his bicycle and left the scene. [VICTIM ] stated that he then called police. [VICTIM ] did not provide a witness statement.While on scene, we observed several holes inside of [VICTIM ]’s living room TV. Photos of the TV were taken and will be logged into evidence locker #02. We canvassed the area for the male, but was met with negative results.Lt. J. Freeman was notified of the incident.A copy of this report was emailed to Cpl. J. Kicklighter at the TIRS desk so that the weapon could be entered into GCIC as stolen.This case is being forwarded to investigations.[End of Narrative].
