CSI KING was ed by CHIEF DEPUTY WENDELL COFER, who requested CSI KING to responded to [100 BLOCK] Sims Street, Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia to process a shooting scene for BPS Investigators. CSI KING made ready and departed to the scene.CSI KING arrived on scene at approximately 0716 hours, SCI KING noted that CHIEF INVESTIGATOR MARK ESQUIVEL, CAPTAIN TIM MIXON, SEARGEANT DUSTEN STRICKLAND, INVESTIGATOR GASTON CORSON and BPS OFFICER CHARLES GRIFFINS was on scene. CHIEF INV ESQUIVEL stated that [VICTIM ], lives at [100 BLOCK] S. Sims Street Apartment [REDACTED]. DONTAVIOUS HICKS forced in way into the apartment by knocking the window unit out of the living room window. INV ESQUIVEL stated [VICTIM ] locked herself and a young child in the upstairs bed room. HICKS went upstairs and shot into the door several times trying to make entry.CSI KING alone with CSI COFER processed the scene.
