On October 06, 2024 at approximately 1039 hours I, D/S J Davis responded to [30 BLOCK] Birch Ridge Ct in reference to a domestic.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim/ mother of the offender [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, prior to our arrival her son/ offender (Miron Lay) was involved in an altercation with his 14 YOA brother [REDACTED BY AGENCY] over a brownie. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, during the argument Miron attempted to attack [REDACTED BY AGENCY] causing him to be fearful for his safety.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, she then put herself in between [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and MIron at that time. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, Miron then began pushing her to attempt to get at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, she then called for [REDACTED BY AGENCY] father ([WITNESS #1]). [REDACTED BY AGENCY], stated [WITNESS #1] then attempted to separate Miron at that time.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, [WITNESS #1] then took [REDACTED BY AGENCY] down stairs and separated him from Miron at that time. After speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I spoke to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [WITNESS #1] both of which confirmed the story. After speaking to all other subjects, I spoke to Miron who denied the allegations.
Miron stated he was attempting to teach his brother not to steal and his mother began hitting him. Miron stated, he defended himself, and grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by her shirt to move her. Miron was placed under arrest at that time.
Upon placing Miron under arrest, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] became irate and recanted her story. Miron was transpoerted and turned over to the Coweta County Jail on a warrantless affidavit.
Due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] being upset she was not provided a case card.
