On October 19, 2024, I, D/S Weber, was dispatched to 600 Bullsboro Dr in reference to disorderly conduct.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [WITNESS #1], who stated that one of the guests (Benjamin Merrick) staying in the hotel was in the lobby drinking and yelling at other guests. [WITNESS #1] told Benjamin that he needed to stop and leave and Benjamin yelled at her calling her a “Bith”. [WITNESS #1] told me that Benjamin then left the lobby went outside and started getting into another argument with someone else. [WITNESS #1] said that the property manager from Red Roof came over and told her that Benjamin was threatening her. I then went and talked to [VICTIM #1](property manager), who stated that Benjamin had come out and started yelling and arguing with her. [VICTIM #1] said that Benjamin was calling her a “Bith and threatened to blow her and her family up” and when he was walking away said, “Next time I see you you’ll be dead and in the ground”. [VICTIM #1] said that Benjamin had walked to the RaceTrac and we would find him there.
I located Benjamin at the RaceTrac and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. Benjamin stated that he did get into an argument with a woman wearing a pink sweater, which is what [VICTIM #1] was wearing when I spoke with her. Benjamin was criminally trespassed on August 18, 2022, from 1 Amlajack Blvd. Benjamin was then placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle and transported to the Coweta County Jail where he was turned over to the jail staff.
