On Saturday the date of 03-22-2025 at the time of 1955 hours I, Cpl. Villagomez SO 07, responded to a North sector call that Deputy Garmany SO 12 had in regards to a verbal domestic in progress at [100 BLOCK] Maplewood Drive Apt # [REDACTED].
Upon arrival I witnessed Mr. Marvin Hines on the front porch of the apartment and had immediate knowledge that the individual had a Probation warrant. I spoke with Mr. Hines to figure out what was going on where he advised that him and his mother Ms. [REDACTED] were arguing and verbally got into it. Mr Hines advised me he had a warrant but stated ” I’m not going to Jail ” and immediately walked away from me after giving commands to stop. I went after this subject where he ran from me on foot in the parking lot area until he ran back onto the porch where I grabbed ahold of him and advised him he was under arrest. Mr. Hines refused to be taken into custody and pulled and jerked away from me screaming at me ” I’m not going to jail!” to the point were I placed him on the ground to be handcuffed and verbally warned him that if he kept resisting arrest and tried to run that he would be tased. At this time Deputy Garmany arrived on scene where Mr. Hines pulled away and resisted Deputy Garmany as well.
Mr. Hines was taken into custody and placed into my patrol unit. Mr. Hines was transported to the Jail and charged with Willful Obstruction of Law enforcement X 2 and Disorderly Conduct.
