On 7-7-24 at 0342, I responded to a Disorderly Conduct call, which reported a disturbance involving multiple individuals, at Congress St/Whitaker St.
While interacting with the suspect, she was extremely upset because she felt the police were not doing their job to help a citizen’s friend who was extremely intoxicated and was asleep on the ground for a long time. Ms. Harris expressed her frustration and was advised that she needed to get into her vehicle and leave the area. Ms. Harris also recommended that the citizens be taken to their Uber and left to go . After multiple times telling Ms. Harris to leave the area, she still continued to express her extreme frustration and aggression towards the situation with the extremely intoxicated citizens. Since Ms. Harris refused to leave, she was placed under arrest without incident. Ms. Harris was arrested for Public Drunkness and Disorderly Conduct. Ms. Harris was placed into handcuffs and transported to CCDC.
CRN was Issued.
