, I responded to a quadplex at [200 BLOCK] E Park Ave for a Domestic violence call with weapons involving Mr. [VICTIM ] and Ms. Llakiesha Lacount who live together with their two year old son [REDACTED].
When I arrived, I saw Mr. [VICTIM ] standing on the stairs to the and Ms. Lacount was in her vehicle. I made with [VICTIM ] first.
Mr. [VICTIM ] stated he got from work and went to change clothes to run on the treadmill in the living room, he stated while changing Ms. Lacount had started making snide remarks towards him, however, he did not pay her any attention. [VICTIM ] stated after he changed he went into the living room and placed his firearm a tan Glock 19x (CAHU590) on the fireplace as that is where he always puts it when hes on the treadmill, however, Lacount came into the kitchen pretending to look for food while on the phone with another man and he asked her if she could take the call outside as she never talks to the male in the anyother time and he felt it was disrespectful as he never does that to her.
I asked what happened in reference to the firearm he stated that after asking Lacount to take the call outside she walked away to the bedroom and he asked her again at which point they started arguing and when she sat her phone on the bed and he grabbed it to talk to the guy, he said she started hitting him on his body and he walked away with the phone to the kitchen at which point she grabbed his firearm from the fireplace and racked it: [VICTIM ] said he told her “here if you want the phone take it” and as she reached for it he rushed her snatching the firearm from her. [VICTIM ] stated after snatching the firearm Lacount walked toward the kitchen and he followed as he has another firearm and though she was going for it but she then grabbed a hammer hitting him in the right leg and tried hitting him in the face but missed at which point he grabbed the hammer from her as well.
I spoke to Ms. Lacount next, asking what happened, she stated while in her room talking to another man on the phone Mr. [VICTIM ] came into her room asking her to take the call outside, she stated he then tried to take the phone from her, however, when she sat the phone on her bed is when he took it and started talking to the other male. Lacount said [VICTIM ] walked out of the room with her phone and took a picture of the guys number and when she went to get the phone back he pushed her on the couch getting on top of her at which point she grabbed his firearm and tried to hit him with it to get him off of her. Lacount stated she had injuries on her neck from being choked by [VICTIM ], I looked at the injuries and saw a small scratch on the left side of her neck and a bruise on the right side of her neck along the same height.
I called the on-duty Sgt to update him on what took place regarding weapons being involved, I was advised to clarify when exactly everything took place and clear up the timeline. I called a few moments later updating him at which point family violence detectives were notified and arrived later and spoke to both parties.
Upon the Det finishing with both parties it was determined that Ms. Lacount would be placed under arrest as the predominant aggressor as she attempted to cause harm with both a firearm and hammer to Mr. [VICTIM ]. Lacount was charged with OCGA: 16-5-70 Cruelty to Children 3rd and OCGA: 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault (DVA). Lacount was transported to Memorial Hospital for clearance and then transported to CCDC for booking.
I did not conduct a lethality form as I was dealing with Ms. Lacount and transporting her to jail.
