On August 27th, 2024
, at 1614 hours, I responded to 6 Mill Creek Circle (Chipotle) in reference to a disorderly person. Upon arrival I made with Ms. [VICTIM ], the manager. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised that the female sitting in a white Chevrolet sedan in the parking lot, came into the store and was irate due to the cost of her meal. She advised the female began yelling at the staff and threw a bag of chips across the counter. She advised the female was asked to leave, and as she was leaving, she attempted to take the hot sauce bottles off the counter.
Ms. [VICTIM ] advised she stopped the female and told her she was not going to take the hot sauce bottles out of the store which irritated her further. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the female walked outside and she followed. She advised while she was speaking to the female, the female spit on her and pushed her back with her arm. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the female then left the store, drove across the parking lot to Taco Bell, then immediately returned continuing the altercation.
Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the other manager in the store, Mr. [WITNESS ], witnessed the events. I spoke with Mr. [WITNESS ] who advised the female came into the store and ordered a bowl. He advised the cashier is a young female and when she advised the female of the total, she began shouting about the price. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised he came to the register to explain the cost break down to the female and she continued to be argumentative. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised she told him “fuk you” so he said “fuk you” in return. He advised Ms. [VICTIM ] walked outside with the female and he walked out to make sure nothing else took place. He advised as soon as he exited the store, he witnessed the female spit on Ms. [VICTIM ] and push her back using her forearm. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised that he then stepped in and told the female she was not going to spit on the manager of the store, and as she was trying to shut her driver’s door, he grabbed the top of the door and told her to wait. He advised she pulled the door harder ripping something off on the inside.
I then approached the female and asked for her identification, which she provided. I identified her as Ms. Hannah Stover. Ms. Stover advised she came into the store and ordered a bowl. She advised the bowl was seventeen dollars and she did not understand why it was so expensive. She advised the manager was breaking down the cost to her but someone in the back flipped the middle finger at her. She advised when she exited the store, the manager grabbed her door and caused her to break the handle off the inside. I asked Ms. Stover if at any point she spit on the manager, and she advised she did not. A brief time later she advised she did spit in the direction of the ground and that “the only thing I regret is spitting.” I asked Ms. Stover if she hit the manager at any point and she advised she did not.
I returned to Ms. [VICTIM ] and asked if she wanted to press charges on Ms. Stover for this incident and she advised she did. I then placed Ms. Stover under arrest, handcuffed double locked to fit, ed her person and placed her in the rear of Officer Reinhart’s patrol vehicle. I filled out all necessary paperwork and issued Ms. Stover a $1000.00 dollar bond. Ms. Stover was transported to the Chatham County Detention center where she was turned over to the on-duty jail staff without incident. Ms. [VICTIM ] and Mr. [WITNESS ] were issued a subpoena for November 14th, 2024
, at 10:00 a.m. as witnesses to this case. Ms. Stover’s vehicle was towed by Sapp’s Wrecker Service.
