Discretion is advised.]On 03/09/2022 at approximately 11:12 Hours I responded to [1200 BLOCK] SE 36th Street in reference to a person with a knife call which was changed to a domestic. The complainant advised his wife was attempting to stab him.I made with Mr. [VICTIM ] who advised his wife and him got into it in which she swung a screwdriver at him in attempt to cut him. He stated he had not been in five days and was coming to get some items and talk with her. She responded aggressively and began grabbing him. I observed a few rips and a hole in the collar of his shirt. He stated his wife, Elizabeth Marshall, was still at the residence along with her cousin.I made with the cousin, who wishes to not be names, who stated she was not involved in the situation. She stated the two were fighting when she got her and she broke it up as Mr. [VICTIM ] was attempting to escape his wife. She state Ms. Marshall had a screwdriver in her hand at the time and was swinging it in effort to stab Mr. [VICTIM ].At this time a supervisor responded and began to detectives.Officers then surrounded the residence at [1200 BLOCK] SE 36th Street and attempted to make at the front door. After multiple attempts, we received no response. I placed my patrol vehicle offset to the front of the residence with my emergency lights activated. I used my siren multiple times and began to make announcements to Ms. Marshall. I also used her maiden name of Ms. Magwood. After approximately 30 minutes of requesting her presence, we received no response.DVA detectives responded and requested SVU. SVU then responded.At this time I left the scene.I was informed by my SGT that Mr. [VICTIM ] informed him Mrs. Marshall also slashed his rear left tire with the same screw driver she attempted to cut him with aside from trying to stab him.Mr. [VICTIM ] was given a CRN Card.[End of Narrative].
