On July 03, 2024
, at 0200 hours, I responded to a verbal disturbance call at 200 E. St. Julian St.
Upon arrival, I was looking for a white male subject in his 60s wearing a white T-shirt with Gray shorts in the area. It was noted in the call notes that he was yelling and throwing things at random people and causing a big disturbance. I observed a white male who fit the description of urinating in the bushes on Jefferson/ W. Oglethorpe St.
He was later identified as Christopher Hedman. Officer Kruwel asked why he was urinating in the bushes, but Mr. Hedman denied it and stated he was bending over looking for his glasses.
Mr. Hedman was taken to CCDC Jail for the City Ordinance 9-1002(7), Urinating in the City of Savannah bushes. Mr. Hedman property was logged into the Savannah Police property room.
