Once on scene Ringgold already had his taser deployed, but it did not have a proper connection.The listed offender was attempting to hit Ringgold Officer Goresh with closed fists as Deputy Freeman was walking inside the door. Deputy Freeman pulled her agency issued taser out of the holster and pointed it at the offender. The offender was moving around in an attempt to get away from Officer Goresh so Deputy Freeman re holstered her taser.Deputy Freeman assisted Officer Goresh by grabbing one of the offender’s arms and placing the offender on the counter using soft hands. Officer Goresh was able to get the offender in handcuffs behind the back. The offender continuously pulled up in attempt to get away from deputies while Officer Goresh was trying to search him for weapons and double lock his handcuffs.Deputy Baird arrived on scene and the offender tried to get up once again, so Deputy Baird assisted the offender on the ground. The offender was then searched for weapons with none being found. The offender was turned over to Ringgold Police Department.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on September 13, 2025]On September 13th, 2025 at approximately 0429 hours, Deputy Baird responded to the Waffle House on Alabama Highway in reference to Deputy Freeman and Officer Goresh actively fighting with a subject.Upon arrival, Deputy Baird observed Deputy Freeman and Officer Goresh holding the handcuffed offender down over a table. Deputy Baird assisted in holding the offender down so that the handcuffs could be double locked and the offender could be searched. While the offender was being searched, the offender was cussing at Deputies and the Officer, the offender also tried to raise himself up multiple times, despite verbal commands to stay down. The offender raised up again, so Deputy Baird assisted him to the ground to gain better control.The offender was searched and escorted outside to Officer Goresh’s patrol vehicle.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #3 on September 13, 2025]On 9/13/2025 at approximately 0519 hours, Deputy Stooksbury responded to Waffle House on Alabama Highway to assist Officer Goresh from Ringgold.Upon arrival, Deputy Stooksbury witnessed Officer Goresh fighting with the offender. The offender was in handcuffs, but was resisting Officer Goresh and kicking him. Deputy Stooksbury then picked the offender up and placed him on the ground face down to gain control of the offender. While on the ground the offender attempted several times to spit on officers, as well as kicking Officer Goresh again.While maintaining control of the offender, the offender scratched Deputy Stooksbury several times, causing Deputy Stooksbury’s arm to bleed and leave several scratch marks. Pictures of Deputy Stooksbury’s arm have been attached to this report. Officer Goresh put leg restraints on the offender and the offender was placed in the back of Deputy Stooksbury’s patrol car for transport.Due to the offender being violent and continuously attempting to assault Deputy Stooksbury, the offender was not seat-belted. After being placed in the rear seat of the patrol car, the offender continued to kick the door of Deputy Stooksbury’s patrol car, which damaged the right rear door panel. Officer Goresh originally requested assistance from a Deputy due to the offender kicking the windows in his patrol car and him not having bars to protect the glass.The offender was transported to the Catoosa County Detention center and upon arrival at the jail, the offender spit on Cpl. Davis and kicked him when trying to get the offender out of the car. The offender also spit on Deputy Stooksbury while on the way to the jail by spitting over Deputy Stooksbury’s cage in his patrol car. The offender was pulled out of the car and a spit mask was put on the offender.Once in the jail, the offender continued to kick officers. Deputies then carried the offender into a cell and placed him on the ground while jail staff retrieved the restraint chair. Davis made contact with deputies in the sally port and the offender who was still inside the rear of Deputy Stooksbury’s patrol vehicle. Cpl. Davis opened the rear door in attempts to speak with the offender, when Cpl. Davis began speaking to the offender he spit on Cpl. Davis hitting him in his chest, arms, and face.Cpl. Davis then removed the offender from the vehicle the offender began kicking at Cpl. Davis and struck his body camera mount which was on his chest damaging it by breaking the right removal arm, the body camera mount is the property of Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office, Cpl. Davis and was able to apply a spit shield. Cpl. Davis and jail staff then escorted the offender into the booking area where he was subsequently placed into H4 where he attempted to bite Officer Padilla and then attempted to kick Officer Garner while being placed in a restraint chair.State warrants are being applied for.[End of Narrative].
