On June 21, 2024
, at approximately 23:20hrs, Deputy Anthony Taylor responded to a reported fight at 660 North Avenue, the Kroger Grocery Store.
Upon my arrival, I made with [VICTIM ], an employee at Kroger, who reported being attacked by a less black male. [VICTIM ] mentioned having a brief exchange with the male before being struck with a partially table display, causing him to fall.
The less male hit him with a small Kroger buggy and continued the assault while [VICTIM ] was on the ground, resulting in a busted lip and bleeding from the left side of his head. [VICTIM ] expressed experiencing pain.
Witness [WITNESS ] corroborated the incident, describing the less male as wearing gray or black dirty shorts.
EMS was alerted, and [VICTIM ] was transported for medical treatment.
